Renovation work will take place on Vienna’s Southeast Tangent this weekend.
As part of the comprehensive renovation of the Prater Hochstraße, renovation work will be carried out this weekend on Vienna’s Southeast Tangent (A23) between Prater and Kaisermühlen.
Restrictions due to the renovation of Vienna’s Southeast Tangent
According to Asfinag on Thursday, individual lanes on Vienna’s Southeast Tangent will have to be closed in both directions over the weekend, but one lane will always remain open. The bypass ramp at the Prater junction heading north will also be closed. Furthermore, there will be short-term nighttime closures of the exit at the Prater junction towards the city center and Erdberg in the southbound direction. The detour is signposted locally and runs via the St. Marx junction. The work will start on Friday (October 17) at 10 p.m., and all closures will be lifted again on Monday (October 20) at 5 a.m.
